The Zuver process starts with a casual meeting at your home to discuss your needs and your vision for your home. During this meeting, we can discuss rough pricing estimates. Within the week, we will provide you with a formal bid proposal outlining and itemizing all aspects of your custom home remodeling project for transparency. 1. ON-SITE CONSULTATION AND PERMITS (4 to 8 weeks)
Our company owner, Wade Zuver, will personally meet with you at your home to discuss your needs, wants and desires for your home renovation project. During this appointment, the possibilities for your project will be discussed as well as a project timeframe and preliminary estimated budget.
Measurements of your space will be taken. And you are welcome to share photos with us of design styles and home features you desire.
This casual, information-gathering meeting will give Zuver Construction the necessary information to draft a formal, detailed proposal (with material selections and budget allowances) within two weeks for your review.
2. DESIGN AND PERMITS (up to 5 weeks)
Once the initial estimate has been reviewed, we begin the design phase with our designer. At your design consultation, measurements will be taken. You will be able to view 2-D and 3-D renderings of your project and learn about material selections that fit within your budget and aesthetic desires shortly thereafter. We will submit for permits and get asbestos and lead testing completed and order materials.
3. SCHEDULE A START DATE (bathroom: 4 to 8 weeks / kitchen: 6 to 12 weeks / addition: 3 to 5 months / new home: 6 months or more)
Once both your budget and design elements are finalized, it’s time to schedule a start date to begin construction for your project. You will meet your Zuver Construction project manager and be informed as to the timeframe before completion. We will keep you informed during each step of the process.
